Carolyn Wilson and Kelley Ezell attended the Spartanburg Housing Summit hosted by the United Way of the Piedmont on May 30th. It was really eye opening and they gained a better understanding of the conversation, language and concepts.

Much of the data and focus was on the inner city, but there was lots of conversation about the countywide issue as well. The UFRC often works with families who can’t afford quality housing in the District 2 area. The United Way has formed an Opportunity Housing Collaborative.
